Sorry for my late reply. The wooden handle has pear wood casing but the cushion & pins are the same. Only have 1 left! Not sure when Madan will be producing more of the wooden ones. I'm currently using this one & love it.
Madan is still producing pin brushes. They also came out w/ a few new styles of combs. I just have not had the chance to stock up on the pin brushes, should be able to by June, hopefully.
