Wiley has had gas and loose stools for a couple of weeks. I took him to the vet and his Albumin Level is low at 1.6. I'm a nervous wreck and so very sad. She didn't say whether it was IBS, Pancreatitis or something else. She put him on a medicine for his stools, switched him to low fat prescription food and put him on probiotics. She doesn't want to put him on steroids because of all the other problems the will cause. She did say if his level gets to 1 that I will lose him. Please let me know if anyone else has gone through this.
