I cannot offer any advice, but know that my thoughts are with you. Having lost one of our babies at six to a severe collapsing trachea, I am well aware of the pain you experience each time your little one struggles for their next breath.
If it helps, our elderly schnauzer was blind for the last several years of his life. He learned to function well within his own home, and adapted to unknown situations using his sense of hearing and smell. Even when he went deaf, he could still avoid our pool by smelling the chlorine.
I hope that you are able to find help with the challenges that you face with your little girl! (((hugs))) |
