Your probably going to have to look at all the small print for that or they might have an FAQ section. I have healthy paws and they just required a regular vet exam within a certain amount of time. There is a difference though between over vaccinating and vaccinating. In all US states rabies is the law and without it you risk hefty fines as well as the possibility of losing your dog. Honestly whether the insurance requires heart worm medication or not you should be using it. They also should be seeing a vet once a year for annual blood work to check organ function, blood count and for heart worms. Without yearly blood work if your dog gets sick then they have no normal blood work to compact the sick blood work too. Regular blood work also can catch things before they get bad.
