You have to consider the costs because in order to truly love and home a dog in your home forever, you MUST responsibly consider whether you have adequate finances to cover basic pet costs but also one on the top of another emergency hospital visits, which can run around $700 to $1200 for basic few hours diagnosis in the ER, then add on the costs of additional testing, consultations, treatment, it's very expensive. With more than one dog, more than one ER visit can really break average budgets. I don't wait until morning if I see a problem with Tibbe so we've been to the Vet ER three times and each visit was a budget breaker in and of itself! So as much as I'd love another dog, I cannot imagine if I had to pay for two dogs' ER vet visits! So think before you love, for the sake of your dogs.
