He got 5 baby teeth removed and a full cleaning. We sat with the dentist and talked about his back molars that will need special care. His jaw is so small, that the roots have bent sideways. The surgery is too risky so we have to maintain care in a special way.
I am beyond thankful for the team at U.C Davis. They are AMAZING! They had a board certified vterinary dentist as well as a board certified anesthesiologist that were both dedicated to my baby. In recovery (which is located next to their ER) they have 1 dedicated person to watch over the babies recovering. This person checks on them every 5-10 minutes to be sure they are recovering well. The facility is AMAZING and I see why it’s one of the best in the world.
The price was well over what I would have paid in a local vet bt it was WORTH EVERY CENT. Just knowing my baby was being taken care of in the BEST POSSIBLE FACILITY gave me lots of hope for the best possible outcome.
Ziggie is HOME NOW and doing so well 💗
