Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this forum but have enjoyed reading the posts. My yorkie's name is Molly and she's 3 years old. I have to say, she is the cutest yorkie I've ever seen

.
For as long as I can remember Molly has experienced occassional snorting fits. She will stretch out her neck and start making snorting noises as if she is attempting to get air. This will go on for short periods of time. I usually just talk to her calmly and gently stroke her throat. It seems to soothe her. She doesn't have any side affects and always goes back to do what she was before her attack. I've taken her to the vet and the vet treated her for kennel cough. I don't believe that is what it is. I took her to another vet and the vet couldn't explain what it was and suggested I video tape her.
After lenghty research online I found what I think may be the problem. From what I read the symptoms point to reverse sneezing spasms. Apparently this is harmless and doesn't hurt her.
Do any of your yorkie's experience this?
