hi-
my yorkie got sick about a month ago and wouldn't eat either. she is 2.5lbs full grown so you can imagine my concern with hypoglycemia. what i gave her was chicken beech nut baby food mixed with boiled chicken breast pieces and moistened with warm water. after she ate a little of that i gave her some honey mixed with water in a syringe, just as a little treat to encourage her to eat and to prevent hypoglycemia.
now she's eating again i'm giving her merrick puppy plate mixed with ground up eukanuba bites mixed with a bit of water to moisten and supplement her water intake. now she eats everything i put in her bowl.
