1. To get rid of separation anxiety, you could help him to build confidence and trust between you through lots of stimuli, such as petting, treats, and going outside
2. How do you introduce him to pee on the pads? Can you use the method again to lead him to poo? What's more, you could adopt the idea of matese (picking up the poo on the pads), as I also successfully taught my pup to poo on the pads by this way.
