I would make sure that the company’s have vet nutritionist on staff, do feeding trials and have good quality control. If your dog has a true food allergy no food that is made in a factory with all the other food that contains what the dog is allergic to would work because it will come in contact with all the other foods. A dog with a true food allergy should be on prescription food that they are careful to not have come in contact with the other foods and ingredients. I have a dog with IBD which is caused by food allergies.
