Hi everyone! We have a 3 year old female, Roxie. In early January we got a 7 month old male, Tucker. These dogs are from same breeder, but different parents. Tucker is a very nice boy, loves to play, but he is gentle. Our female is just not having it! She shreeks at him often when he initiates play. There are occasions when she wants him to chase her.
When our daughter brings her Miniature Golden Doodle over, Tucker and Clara will play great, but Roxie wants no part of it.
How can we get Roxie to play? Do I have to bring her for a certain kind of training? When Tucker and Clara play, they run, and wrestle, etc. with no high pitched barking at all.
My husband's patience is running low!
On Monday, we start Obedience classes with Tucker.
We SO want the dogs to have fun together, once in awhile Roxie will, but it is like she doesn't know how to play with dogs. She never plays with Clara either!
