Is it common for yorkies to shake when they want attention? Thumper has a habit of shaking his whole body when he is not happy. When I pick him up and pet him he seems to calm down.

I don't think it is anything medically wrong with him it just makes me wonder. I started noticing it about 1.5 years ago when we were on a road trip and he was not happy to be in the back seat. I had to pull the car over and sit with him until he calmed down.

Bella is the opposite and does not shake at all.
