Not only that... I found out that their feeding trials are only 6 weeks long, and they only test for palatability. Not only that, but not all of their formulas are tested. They have no actual science backing them and their foods are among the top in terms of foods fed to dogs diagnosed with dietary DCM in recent studies (granted, the studies haven't been super intense, and a lot of the data is still very new but...)
Not to mention they annoy me with their wish-washy decisions... such as how they pulled from Chewy.com last year because they "only support independent stores" and now this year they are selling to Petco now. Which I have no problem with but it's just that their "principles" are kind of laughable. Lots of rumors about Purina buying them out (again, that doesn't bother me, it's just the lies about it and skirting around the issues).
