We didn't have worries about heartworm or lyme disease when living in Sparks, NV. I just returned from having Piper tested for both (required each year) and picking up meds she takes year around (as recommended by vet). Cost was over $400 and worth every single penny! I would hate to think of Piper suffering because I didn't do something preventive...Thank you for excellent reminders on how we can best look after the well-being of our little ones! |
