I think Purina is the only company making "dog" litter right now. Their litter box for dogs is a ridiculous - like $18 for a little plastic box. The rubbermaid storage container that I bought was $7.99 and its much more useful. Gunther thought the Purina litter box was a bed.

I heard clumping litter is no good because they may swallow some and it will harden in their stomach. I suppose it makes sense. But I've seen other products - litter made from wheat, a litter that doesn't clump and has a citrus scent and the Purina "type" made from recycled newspaper. I tried the
Purina stuff and Gunther just chewed on it.

Does anyone have a good product to recommend?
