thank you for your response you sure have learned a lot. Lola's reaction was very mild just a little vomiting and that was about 6 years ago, she is now 8. I don't rush any vaccinations and hold off as long as I can, but we live on a lake where there is a lot of wildlife and we travel by plane frequently so a rabies vaccine is required. It started about three years ago, I think they hire college kids but animal control now walks door to door. I did not have a license for her, but one day they knocked and she came running and barking to the door, so LOL we were busted and now every year they send a postcard about renewing her license, in fact it is sitting here on my desk, her three year rabies expired at the end of last year so a week or so before our next flight which is in April I will have her rabies done again. I wish I could wait even longer.....
