For water bowl any small glass or ceramic(no plastic) dessert dish will work until he is big enough to use a regular doggie bowl.
For pens the most popular are Iris or xpens, no flooring with these, use piddle pads to cover exposed floor. I will say this, expect a big mess, the pads may be balled up, shredded, scattered about when pup is left unattended. They love to play with the pads no matter how may toys are in the pen.
