Thank you for your response!! I can absolutely try this, but he has had free reign of my main floor (not very big at all) of our town-home since we have had him for the last two months. He does not like to be contained and not in sight of someone. We have just finally got him to not bark and cry when we put him in the crate when we leave by using calming spray, a Kong and putting a blanket over the crate.
I have to go out of town on Monday for work for a couple of days and have someone coming to watch him (a former vet tech). I am curious to see if he continues the behavior with her. If it is marking, then I am going to ask the vet when is the soonest he can neuter.
