oh poor baby. can you call the vet and ask about over the counter solutions to help make her comfortable?

Don't do this without asking the vet BUT, if you see black crud it might be mites and the ear wash that you get at the pet store might help relieve some of it. (it's a mixture with mostly alcohol I think?)

and if it is allergic reaction (to bites or something in the air) which will make ears hot, red and swollen you could try a little cortizone cream just on the inside of the ears. (I had a dog with major allergies) AGAIN, talk to the vet. Also over the counter, benedryl helps with allergic reaction.
