Thanks for the prayers you guys. Today she seems to have gotten a little bit of an energy boost, but has now lost responsiveness in her other eye. We are just praying she responds to the medicine at this point. Apparently some yorkies do not respond and the lesions in the brain get larger. It's basically an autoimmune disorder where the body thinks the brain is a foreign object and it attacks the brain. It seems to affect yorkies, pugs and Maltese the most according to the neurologist.
