Yes unless maybe you have a rescue who has issues. It’s actually better for all dogs to be crate trained because at vets offices they are are kept in crates when they are there for surgeries or the day for testing, they normally have to be in a crate if they go to groomers and it’s also good if you need to put them in one for emergencies or some other issue. It is hard but as puppies it’s generally safer. Ollie was my easiest and I think it was because he was a bit older when I got him.
