How many times per night seems reasonable? I was taking her three or four times. Down to two, with lots of crying in between. I read on a Yorkie site that waking up becomes habitual so I should let her cry it out. Not working well.

Mine normally never went out more then twice a night. This can be the hardest part in my opinion. With Callie it was terrible it was like having new baby. It took her the longest to get used to it but they do eventually. When growing up all our pups slept in crates at night and all my four Yorkies started out that way as pups.
