| I seem to notice that the dog flu, unlike the human strain, seems to spike in the summer, and wane in the winter. It's odd, because most flu viruses do not survive in the heat, but flourish in the cold.
I am not thrilled about giving Cody too many vaccines, because he is quite small, and delicate. So, I only try to give him what is really required like Rabies, Distemper, etc.
As long as there have been no reports about outbreaks, and your dogs are not coming into contact with many others at one time, like at a dog park/run, doggie day care, etc., I am not sure you do not need to worry about it. Quote:
