I am so sorry. Daisy is precious. It sounds like the coughing is controlled....is the difficulty walking due to something else? Or is it the breathing?
Sometimes the xrays can look awful and yet the pups actually do fairly well. The problem with going by an xray is that the trachea changes....you are only looking at a "snapshot in time". The only real way to see how it is functioning all of the time is by doing a flouroscopy. I have had pups with xrays that looked like a mild collapse with horrible symptoms....and those with awful xrays who did ok.
