I had bad mouse infestation after remodel once in Nevada. I blocked any tiny possible openings with steel wool and trapped mice with "new" easy-to-use plastic traps using peanut butter. Lemme tell ya, problem solved! Course, Piper and I were both nervous wrecks for a couple of days, any shadow or slightest sound sent us off the rails.
