Bella is almost four months and I've had her for over a month and I decided to litter box train her. At first it was very frustrating because she refused to go in the box but miraculously she did it one day with my supervision! When i'm at work I put her in her "room" which is the laundry room and she has enough room for her box, bed, food bowls and a few toys. Since moving her there she has no problem using the box. When she does run around the house at night and has to pee she still forgets that she is supposed to go in the box. But when its time to poop she takes off running for the box. My vet explained that she is like a child who is potty training. She knows when she has to poop and can control that feeling but she's doesn't quite have full control of her bladder making her stop in mid play and pee. I realized I just have to have patience and be consistent and in time she will fully get it. Good luck with your little one!!!
