Our Buster has his teeth cleaned about 3 months ago and they also removed 7 baby teeth. He was under anathesia nearly an hour. He was 15 months old at that time. Since that surgery his stool has never returned to his normal firm consistency. He has been through 3 rounds of antibiotics and probiotics and still he is having soft to loose stools. I am trying a new vet and he did complete bloodwork and also got him on his latest antibiotic regimen. One of the next steps he is going to try is a prescription food which I think is made by Royal Canine. My question is this, I have always fed him Fromm Gold, both puppy and now adult fir small dogs. Is there a food I can feed that is possibly less grain or more helpful for soft/loose stool? Maybe I can try something besides the prescription food on my own? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
