With Callie I used a play pen. You shouldn’t just give them a whole room because it’s to much and they could jump and run both of which are no no’s. I tried to make sure Callie had plenty of chews. Sometimes you have to ignore the crying even though it’s hard. If she is way to hyper you may have to ask for a light sedative to make her sleepy. I also used a dog stroller if I was leaving the room or wanted to take her outside just for air.
