I do not allow people to 'pick' their pup, but instead personality test pups and try to match them to the home that will suit them the best. If you are looking for an alpha type, strong willed personality, then that is most likely what you will get if you allow the pup to pick you. The litter alpha will generally be the most curious and extroverted, also the toughest to train.
