There are reputable breeders. You find them through research and recommendations. I would suggest that you NOT accept a dog just because someone placed it in your arms. Not enough information there.
Clearly you took very good care of your baby for 16 years!
You want to see the DNA testing, recommendation.iin by their vet and talk to some others who have purchased from that person. Then you look at the health agreement.
Understand they can show you any dog and say it is the parent and the DNA might be for another pup so you have to look at the reputation and that takes some time. Just having it happen easily is not how it is done.
