Hubby noticed that Bon Bon was pawing at his face and sticking his tongue out oddly. We got a flashlight and peeked inside his mouth. Nothing we could see. I checked the hair on the right side of his face, nothing. On the left side was a fragment of tooth! Or bone. The dogs have a couple of bones they gnaw at, but they aren't the type that fragment, like a chicken bone. (Good grief, we know better than that!) They also have antler they can gnaw at. The fragment is stored where we can show it to the vet and we'll be stopping by tomorrow morning.

It's always something.
