A food allergy as a puppy is rare. If it is a true food allergy though any food you buy that is not prescription food is going to have trace amounts of the other foods that are made in the same factory as it and for a dog with an allergy it’s enough to set them off. Have you talked to your vet about your concerns? I couldn’t get either of my boys to eat puppy food they ended up eating what the adult dogs were eating and we had no issues. You could also look at puppy vitamins that have some of the things your worried about it them.
