My 2 main concerns are: the prescription food has much lower calcium content and no chondroitin and glucosamine and those are important now as he is teething and still growing in size... Also it has only 18% protein and 1,2% fiber which seems low.
On the other hand I compared adult fish kibble with puppy chicken one and there is less difference between those. I contacted Farmina before starting the vet prescription food and they said they absolutely don't recommend it for such young age except if a part of elimination diet for... I guess now I'm contemplating whether adult fish kibble can be a better option for us? Any thoughts? |
