I dont give my scrappy raw i steam it ,I"m the same way dont want him to choke on the carrot why i steam it i feed my parrots vegetables as a snack for them so i do the same for scrappy ,i have scrappy on natural balance kibble also they make iit in a roll like cookie dough , plus he gets can dog food also .
