Thank you so much for your message, it’s so good to come to Yorkietalk and find someone who understands what you’re going through. I’m so sorry that you lost your Elmo to kidney disease. It’s so hard to see our little ones suffer, then finally having to let go of them.
At first the vet had told us that we should give Lucy anything she wants to eat and also the renal food which she wouldn’t take but slowly she got to like it. I also switched brands of it. Now I’m not so sure whether I should feed her anything else besides it. This morning she was back to her old habit of ‘Hovering’ the kitchen floor!
Anyway, we will enjoy any extra good times with her. We hope that it won’t be for just a few days. She’s always been loved and showered with hugs and kisses although now she gets lots extra! Thanks again for your post! |
