YES! once the pad is wet, really the only thing you can do is pull up the carpet and I was told after you pull up the carpet and padding to soak the spots in bleach cause if you just put new carpet over the old stain it can come back... not sure how...
but I know I'm having this trouble to, so your not alone, but we are going to go to the hard wood also.
someone told me about a product called "kids and pets" I have never used it but she had puppies and they had diareahea (sp) and it got it all up.
