What problems were you seeing from the smoke in the air..what symptoms? Temaril P is just an anti-histamine with a little steroid. If the Temaril-P is helping with actual allergy symptoms, then I would keep giving it - knowing he'll likely adjust to the drowsiness, most dogs always do.
