I knew then that what I didn't need was for him to pull me down and break a leg or a hip. I found a wonderful Dachshund Rescue. Took him there and cried all the way home. Almost turned around to go back for him but I knew that wasn't the answer. He was adopted a few days later and the Rescue sent me a picture of him with him new family (which included another Doxie). Now I have my little 5 lb Yorkie Gidget and everything is working out for both of us. Still miss my JoJo and have his picture on the picture board in my bedroom. Sometimes we have to make hard decisions. I know you'll find them good homes. Going through a Rescue Agency is the best way because everything thing is done to make sure the home is safe and a good match. Keep us posted.
Thank you for your understanding. I’m sorry you had to go through that too but it sounds like it worked out for the best. We can’t foresee certain circumstances and that doesn’t make us bad people. Doing the right thing and finding them a good home is the best we can do. I am still working on a home for my girls. A very nice lady is working with me. I pray the home she is looking out works out for my girls dates it looks great. Again thank you again for your words.
