Default Post neutering growth and coat changes

Hello again!

Newbie with more questions

Toto is coming up to 24 weeks and I am taking him to the vet for a check, rabies shots for his passport (the UK does not have rabies so shot is optional unless you want to travel) and to ask the vet if I can schedule his neuter for 7 months when I will be offer for a couple of weeks around Christmas and can make sure he is not running and jumping at daycare.

He is 1.8KG or 3.6 pounds and 8 inches at the shoulder (9 inches neck to base of tail), with a beautiful silky puppy coat that I expect to turn into a lovely adult coat as he was bred from show parents.

Reading up on neutering and talking to my groomer (who is anti-neuter) I am wondering if anyone has seen changes in in their furbabies coats and whether anyone's babies grew taller than expected after neuter?

Looking at Toto's parents he should be fully grown now in terms of height, but I expect him to gain a couple of pounds in weight. Obviously his parents were never fixed, so I'm trying to gauge whether I should expect the surgery to cause any unexpected changes because of delays in grow plate closure or hormone adjustments.

I love his little pint size and think he is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen and I don't want to screw it up!
