My Tiny Toby, 4 1/2 mo. old Biewer Terrier, is only 3.5 lbs. How much does the ave. Yorkie weigh at that age? I am hoping for him to grow to average weight. This is my first Terrier--I had Maltese before. There is a lot to learn I am finding out. Things like: He was already raising leg to pee at 4 mo. This is making potty training a lot harder. He seems to think he can raise it on anything inside. My Maltese never did. Pee pads are not recognized as a potty place either. I am taking him outside and repeating "go potty" almost every hour. I give him happy sounds and a treat when he does. Then there is the problem that he is frightened by
any noise. That includes especially the hair dryer!!! I have bathed him twice in the kitchen sink--with me soaked each time
, and as gently as possible tried the hand held dryer for just a little minute after as much towel drying as possible. He goes wild!! We are trying really hard to get him used to normal sounds around the house and yard.
