I'm going to have to disagree about not getting another yorkie because the first one has LP. Callie had bad LP and I actually got Joey when she was on crate rest from ACL surgery. Yes Callie had her LP fixed through surgery but she still has arthritis and everything else and I still added to my gang. Joey had mild not ever gradable LP issues when he was a puppy that he seemed to out grow but I still rescued Penny. LP isn't a death or end of life sentence many dogs live great lives with it.
