My sweet Lexi who passed in January, had to have all of her teeth removed right before she turned 13. Due to decay and disease, many teeth HAD to come out. I opted not to leave any (on the advise of my vet) due to her age and the stress of surgery.
It was a major surgery and the first few nights were rough.
I found that she loved her kibble soaked in chicken broth and mashed up. I would soak it overnight. Poor thing. Once she recovered, she was good to go.
