Hi there, I owned a beautiful Yorkie from Kathleen, that passed away last March at age 10 from chronic kidney failure. According to the breeder her dogs live a long life... He had issues with both knees, so we ended up with surgeries and his kidney values were slightly elevated since he was 6. I took great care of him, he had a healthy diet, very active lifestyle...Always regular doctor visits...
Chronic kidney failure doesn’t run in this breed, maybe I got unlucky, but this is my experience with Katheen’s puppy. Good luck |
