Hmmm, interesting reading!

I personally wish that tails were not docked. As a breeder that tries to follow the standard, I do it because of just that. I wish it wasn't that way. I do leave my tails a bit longer than some though. I think a dog shows it's feelings with it's tail and I like for them to have something to hold high and wag. I do not like the "nubs" that some do. My girl Mimi was not from my breeding. She came to me already docked to a nub. I make sure that in my breedings that mine don't look like bob tail cats.

There is always going to be a debate over docking. Like I said I personally wish the standard didnt' call for it. But in our country it does so I will continue to follow it until I am given other options.
