I shave the inside of Pixie's legs for the sake of hygiene. You can't see it at all and I bet you wouldn't even realize it unless I told you! Plus, as another nice Bonus, I don't have to worry about brushing under there either!

I looked at your incision picture and I think my vet actually shaved about as much of Pixie as yours did Cali (and her incision wasn't nearly as big as Cali's!) It's probably grown back about 3/4 of an inch now. I almost didn't mind because then all her yucky nappy puppy hair was taken off. Everything that has grown back is nice and silky.
