I keep Cody in a puppy cut year round, for summer the groomer uses a # 7 blade which is very short hair, for winter she uses a # 5 blade which is a bit longer then the 7. He gets groomed in winter every 6 weeks, summer every 5 weeks. His hair grows fast. If you use the same groomer all the time see what size blade they use for summer, you can try 2 or 3 sizes less as a starter, if it's to long or to short you can have them use the next size on her next visit, make sure you know what size blade they use, what I have found is some groomers do not record what size blade they used.
