The recommendation is to only get lepto if there is truly a prevalence in your area - or - if your dog spends a lot of time in water. Otherwise, it's not worth getting due to its known potential for reactions. If your vet thinks it's that necessary - you should feel free to ask him what the incidence and prevalence is in your area. Never get lepto with other shots at the same time.

Bordetella is not a core vaccine and it's not recommended you get it unless necessary. Link to more info about core vaccines and vaccine schedules:
