Yep I would say they got worse over time. Deuce is now 8. I do not cut the hair around his eyes or snout. He has a top knot so I'm used to doing it daily or multiple times a day. I clean his eyes and face daily and clean his beard after he eats since he's been on canned food. I do give him baby water (the kind that is mixed with formula) and that does decrease the crusty ones. He's been on baby water for more than 5 years.
