My little girl had a dental cleaning (& 2 baby teeth extracted) last Thursday & everything went well. She was a little sleepy that day but the next morning was back to her energetic self. However, beginning Monday afternoon she has become lethargic. Just wants to sleep & snuggle. She is still eating, pooping & peeing just fine & not throwing up.
I thought maybe the pain meds were making her sleepy so I didn't give her a dose yesterday but that did not make much of a difference. I did start her on a raw food diet (about a week ago) & our vet recommended cooking her food for the first week after her dental so as not to introduce more bacteria into her mouth (which I have done). But that is the only change.
I'm taking her in for her re-check tomorrow but am a little concerned.
Any input?
