Hi everone - just wanted to say hello and tell you about my gorgeous Yorkie Sam. He is 6 years old and we got him when he was four and a half months old. He was kept in a cage from the age of about 8 weeks until we bought him. We thought we were going to a proper breeder but once we arrived we realized it was more like an old fashioned pet shop but after travelling 70 miles we went in anyway. Sam was in a cage and looked so scruffy but very energetic and we knew straight away we had to save him. They took him out of the cage and he literally jumped at me and wrapped his paws around my arm as if to say don't leave me here!!!!! He was tiny so we expected him to be small but he now weighs 20lb!!!! We have papers that say his parents are both Yorkshire Terriers but he is the largest we have ever come across. As a pup he was black and tan but is now champagne and silver. |
